Yellow Belt training or working knowledge of Green Belt concepts is expected. ASQ certification candidates need three years of full-time, paid experience in one or more CSSGB Body of Knowledge areas. ASQ does not grant an education waiver for this requirement.

Participants should hold a current ASQ CSSBB and have substantial experience. ASQ requires a current CSSBB, successful portfolio review and either five years in a Black Belt or Master Black Belt role, or completion of ten Six Sigma Black Belt projects.
